Our 240 cm and 320 cm wide UV stabilized PP Spunbond fabrics offer high performance solutions to critical needs in agricultural production such as early production, frost and frost protection, weed control and pest prevention.
Nonwoven fabrics are multifunctional cover materials that support the healthy growth of plants in fields and greenhouses. When used in the field, they accelerate plant growth and increase crop yield and quality by creating a micro-climate environment where heat and humidity are controlled. Thanks to its light and breathable structure, it creates an effective barrier against adverse weather conditions while allowing light to pass through.
Nonwoven covers contribute to environmentally friendly agriculture by reducing the use of chemicals and lower production costs.
Our agricultural nonwoven fabrics provide sufficient light transmission while protecting the plant from direct sunlight and wind in greenhouse agriculture. It keeps the soil temperature 2-5°C higher during frost and hoar frost periods, allowing early crop production. When used as a weed cover, it is laid on the soil to physically prevent the growth of unwanted weeds and reduce the need for herbicides. In fruit and seedling bag applications, thanks to its breathable structure, it supports root development and allows excess moisture to drain. Our UV stabilized formulation guarantees that the fabric maintains its mechanical properties in the outdoor environment throughout the season.
Areas of Use
Frost and frost cover, sun protection cover, pest barrier, weed barrier (mulching), fruit bag, seedling and sapling bag, greenhouse and tunnel cover, wind barrier.

Nonwoven covers create a controlled microclimate between the soil and the plant. It increases the soil temperature by trapping the sun's heat during the day and reduces the risk of frost by slowing down heat loss at night. In this way, plants develop earlier compared to the normal season and the harvest time is brought forward.
Black colored Spunbond fabrics in the range of 40-70 gsm are generally preferred for weed blocking (mulching) applications. Black color prevents photosynthesis of weeds by completely blocking light transmission. Lighter weights provide sufficient performance for short-term seasonal use.
Our UV stabilized fabrics usually maintain their performance for 1-3 seasons, depending on the conditions of use and weight. Low weight covers (15-30 gsm) are suitable for single season use, while high weight and thicker fabrics (50-100 gsm) can last more than one season.
