Nonwoven Solutions for Filtration Industry

The nonwoven fabrics we produce with Spunbond and Meltblown technologies offer high-performance solutions in a wide range of filtration from air and liquid filtration to industrial dust collection systems.

Two Powerful Technologies for Filtration

Our Spunbond and Meltblown fabrics are two different technologies that complement each other in filtration applications.

In filtration applications, performance is directly related to fiber fineness and surface homogeneity. The micron fine fiber structure of our meltblown fabrics effectively captures small particles in the air. Spunbond fabrics maintain the integrity of the filter structure thanks to their mechanical strength. With SMS (Spunbond-Meltblown-Spunbond) composite structures, we combine the advantages of these two technologies in a single product. With the Corona treatment option, it is possible to further increase the filtration efficiency by increasing the surface energy.

Areas of Use

Vacuum cleaner dust bags, filter bags for vacuum cleaners, refrigerant and air conditioning filters, industrial air filters, liquid filtration applications and automotive cabin filters.

Frequently Asked Questions

01. How are Spunbond and Meltblown fabrics used together in filtration?

Spunbond fabrics act as mechanical strength and carrier layer, while Meltblown fabrics form the main filtration layer with their fine fiber structure. By combining these two in the SMS composite structure, both durable and highly efficient filters can be produced.

In applications requiring fine particle retention - especially in HEPA type air filters, vacuum cleaner bags and medical filtration systems - the 6-8 micron fiber structure of Meltblown fabrics provides superior performance.

Yes. Corona treatment can improve surface wettability, antistatic application can prevent static electricity build-up and FR (delayed flammability) treatment can meet safety standards in filter applications requiring fire safety.
